DMCA

To comply with United States copyright law, Whipped Wonders honors the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). When we receive a valid claim asserting that material hosted on our platform violates copyright, we are legally obligated to remove or disable access to that content. In the interest of fairness, we may also share the complaint and contact details with the user who uploaded the material.

Submitting a Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was wrongfully taken down, the DMCA allows you to submit a counter-notification, which is essentially a legal response claiming the takedown was improper. For your counter-notification to be effective, it must contain:

  • Identification of the content that was removed and its location before it was taken down.
  • Your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
  • A signed statement made under penalty of perjury affirming that the content was removed in error or mistaken identity.
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court where you reside (or to any applicable district in the U.S. if you are outside the country), and your willingness to accept legal service from the original complainant.
  • Your handwritten or digital signature.

Once received, your counter-notification will be passed to the individual or organization who submitted the original DMCA notice. If they do not file a court case to restrain further use within the legal period (typically 10–14 days), we may, but are not obligated to, reinstate the content.
